How commissions work

This site does not sell subscriptions, process payments, or run user accounts of its own. We are an editorial review directory, and the transaction itself happens on the third party's side, not here.
Because this is a statically hosted site, there is no account area, comment system, or on-site checkout attached to these links. If you choose to use a linked service, you deal directly with that provider from that point forward.
What editorial judgment covers
Commercial relationships do not set our scores, written drawbacks, or bottom-line verdicts.
We decide our scores, review notes, and verdicts as editors. That includes the specific drawbacks we call out, the use cases we think a tool suits, and the cases where we think it falls short.
Commercial arrangements do not write the review for us and do not dictate the score attached to a product. If a tool is awkward to use, weak on privacy, expensive for what it delivers, or limited by credits or filters, we say so.
What money cannot change:

If you are comparing tools, treat table position and editorial scoring as different signals. A tool can appear prominently in a table and still receive a mixed verdict, a noted privacy concern, or a lower score than another product farther down the page.
Reviews can change
Scores and verdicts are editorial opinions at a moment in time, and products can change after we review them.
A review is a snapshot, not a permanent fact. Products change: pricing moves, filters tighten or loosen, apps add or remove features, mobile support appears, and privacy settings can be revised.
For that reason, our scores and verdicts are opinions formed at a particular point in time. We re-check tools, but a product can change between reviews and between your visits to this site.
You should read our write-up as an informed editorial assessment, not as a guarantee that a product still works exactly the same way today as it did when we last tested it.

Prices and feature details can go out of date, and you can report a factual error to us by email.
